Unit 16 - Task 1 What is editing? For this unit , I will be explaining different editing techniques. I will be reaching secondary and primary research for different editing techniques such as continuity editing, relational editing, montage editing and parallel editing. This blog would be targeted to a younger audience for information about the history and its techniques . Editing is carefully arranged footage ,whereby the editor has intentionally positioned individual clips in order to achieve a certain atmosphere and communicate a message to the audience by telling a story with moving images. Editing can be also an arrangement of films which comes together to make a story and include audio and text . With editing you can add clips or remove clips which doesn't fit the film its self or add film which is suitable for the movie .
